I'm not quite sure where this story is going. I wrote the first (actually, last) parts of it over ten years ago, but just unearthed them in a recent move. Upon reading through what I had written, I decided that not only was there a story here I wanted to share with others, but that the events to come take place before those in the prologue. The epilogue followed shortly after, both in terms of when it was written and when in the story the events took place.
The final chapter took ten years to make it into electronic form, half that sitting in a small notebook that I carried around on Walkabout. There is also most of the first chapter done, but that will wait until there is more structure to the middle parts. For now, enjoy.
